
TDI Extended is a course that caters to divers who don't have access to Trimix. It emphasizes solid procedures, skill development, and diver response to situations. Students will learn how two decompression gases can be used and how to safely diversify in the Extended Range environment. TDI Extended Range training dives are conducted on air, nitrox, or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens new doors for divers. This certification allows divers to enjoy more bottom time and can be extended to up to 60m/200ft. Extended Range training is also available via eLearning. TDI eLearning lets you complete the course online if it is difficult to find a dive school in your area. This course will inform you about the benefits and advantages of extended range dives.
You will be able to dive in more difficult environments and have a lower nitrogen narcosis with the Extended Range course. Learn how to prepare and execute stage compression dives, using up two stage bottles of enriched or oxygen. The Extended Range course may also be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix Training will prepare you to do advanced diving. You can dive up to 60m under normal conditions. TDI Trimix training emphasizes skill development and safety, as problems at this depth must be dealt with quickly. Divers need to be comfortable with procedures that will avoid any complications in order to do this.
