NAUI Master Scuba Diver
The most popular certification in recreational diving is the NAUI Master Scuba Diver. This course requires students to complete an introductory scuba dive, at least two open-water dives, and a rescue dive. The program is an ongoing education opportunity that emphasizes classroom discussions, practical application, student participation, and student involvement. Students must complete E-learning courses prior to their first session, as well as complete a minimum of 23 hours of classroom study with an instructor. This course covers topics such as deep diving, diving physics, search and retrieval, and equipment. Students will also need to pass an exam on water skills that is equivalent to the one required for a NAUI Assistant Instructor.
SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program

You must be a SSI Master Scuba Diver to qualify
The SSI Master Scuba Diver rating is one of the top levels of recreational diving. It is a combination of skill development and knowledge. The qualification allows recreational divers to look up to scuba divers. To earn this elite rating, divers must have completed at least four special courses and 50 dives.
