Description of the job for a diving master
What is the job of a divemaster? The job description of a dive master includes a range of duties including supervision of customer dives, assessment of the risks, briefings, and leading dive groups. A job description for a divemaster can be more diverse. A dive master may be responsible for several different aspects of a dive shop, including the general operation and social media presence.

Diving instructors teach and supervise scuba techniques in swimming pools or open water. They also plan and supervise nontraining activities, such as navigation exercises. Open water instructors lead students through the tour portion of dives. This includes the navigation exercise as well as the surface swim portion. An instructor in diving may also oversee the certification of divers. Diving instructors' legal responsibility varies from one country to the next. Some countries exempt diving instructors from legal responsibility if they sign a waiver.
Certification requirements
To be a good divemaster, you must complete a course. Divemaster courses cover topics like managing divers, managing dive sites and finding the flow. The minimum number of dives candidates need to have completed must be at least 60. The PADI Instructor Guide and the eRDPML will be used to prepare for the exam. Students will need to prepare an Emergency Assistance Plan and perform five waterskills exercises. The combined scores must be at least fifteen. The course must be completed before certification can be granted to divemasters.
