Scuba gear

For exploration diving, you will need scuba gear. It depends on how deep you want to go, so you will need an air supply and regulator to prevent you getting too decompressed. A scuba meter can also be used to check the air in your cylinders. The gauge can either be an additional device or integrated into your computer. Make sure that the gauge is rated for the depth you plan to dive.

Think about where you'll be diving, and what your preferences are when selecting gear. Some gear is universal and will work in almost any environment. Others are made for one type of diving. A diving mask can be an essential part of your scuba gear. It is suitable for all diving types, regardless of depth or temperature.
