Training for diving in open water

For beginners, it is important to learn in confined water. However, you will need the same skills when diving in open sea. You will learn the basics of mask clearing, breathing underwater and setting up equipment in confined water. Additionally, you will get a feel of different underwater environments and how they work. Confined water sessions help you get the confidence you need to dive safely in the open ocean, as well as to become an excellent underwater photographer.

Preparation for diving in open water

Open water courses may take between a few hours and a few days. The length of an open water course will vary depending on the course and the dive centre chosen. The average course lasts three to seven days. However, you can do all four theory chapters online if time is tight. You will also learn about the gear required to safely dive open water.

Used wetsuits

Wetsuits are special suits that divers wear to keep themselves warm during open water diving. Because they are made from a thin layer, the wetsuit prevents heat buildup. The wetsuit will keep you warm even if it is in a cooler environment than your skin. If taken care of properly, a suit will last for many years.

Benefits of diving in open waters

There are many benefits to diving in the open sea, but not many people realize the physical and mental benefits. For one, exposure to the sun boosts levels of Vitamin D and endorphins in the body, two important hormones that help us stay healthy and happier. The increased levels of endorphins in the body can lead to a reduction in blood pressure. This "feel good" feeling is also good for our mood. Dive in open ocean has many benefits. You should check these out.
