Center Ice Cafe
The University of Illinois Ice Arena Center Ice Cafe is now open to the general public. The cafe is located adjacent to the Customer Service Office and offers food as well as beverages. The Ice Arena Pro Shop stocks a variety of skating and hockey accessories.

Gas leak at UI Ice Arena
Following a leak at its ice rink, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has sent out an Illini-Alert. The building, located at 406 E. Armory Ave., was evacuated as a precaution after firefighters and Ameren Illinois crews detected a leak. To prevent contamination, firefighters blocked the sideway leading to the arena. The leak is believed to have originated from beneath the building.
